The importance of keeping your eyes open, the thrill of swooping in when the opportunity presents itself, the inherent value of a sandwich in a good story.
So when I heard that Andrea Chapell, one of the few remaining kiltmakers in Scotland, was going to be in Dublin for 20 mins, I got to work.
I trotted through the morning streets, grabbed some food and set off to the train station, where I traded a goat’s cheese sandwich for a story.
