Music is weirdly evocative.
Just a few notes of jazz and we’re back at the smoky bar, hair curled tightly, lips quivering, waiting for the third date.
We chart our past through charts; one song carries the scent of citrus and coffee, another, the newborn breath of a new self.
The question inevitably arises; what will our future sound like?
The old, old men and their children drew flying cars and sky farms, but they could imagine the driving beat of songs, yet unwritten.
