If you’ve been reading this newsletter for the last year (thank you!), you’ll remember quite a few articles about Irish wool in the context of slow fashion.
We covered the fascinating history of Irish wool production, the current struggles of the industry and the artists promoting Irish wool through their art.
But I never finished that story.
I eventually had a decision to make with that series of articles; either go along with (or expose) brands that were actively greenwashing.
I chose a third option and widened my remit to the fantastic artists across Ireland. Talking about what you want is an important step in creating the future you want to see.
That decision led me to create N Magazine, an absolute whirlwind of a journey that I’ll share more of in the coming weeks.
I still keep a close eye on Ireland’s slow fashion designers.
